I love tech. I love AI. I love beauty. And I love exploring the intersections - both aesthetic and ethical - among all three.
I care about diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in beauty. Being human is beautiful: in any color, shape or size.
I put people first, and products second. Makeup, beauty and feeling good about yourself should be fun - not frustrating.
Want to succeed in an AI-saturated world? Focus on human connection, community, empowerment and exploration.
Beauty is non-binary. Beauty is something everyone deserves to enjoy: no matter who you are or how you identify.
Sometimes we all need a little reminder of what it means to be human, especially in the age of AI. That's why I'm here.
Makeup, skincare, self-care and more: beauty journalism & content strategy from an industry veteran
As celebrity MUA and stylist, my work has been featured in a multitude of settings, including international film festivals, fashion shows, editorial shoots, commercial projects, and publications including VOGUE Italia and Marie Claire Australia, among others.
For more than two decades, my work has come by word-of-mouth, and I have had the pleasure of working with many well-known brands such as Estée Lauder, Lancôme, Giorgio Armani Beauty, Ulta, Nars, and countless others. I have also worked with NBC Universal, ABC Studios and various talents - actors, actresses, models, musicians, singers and influencers - throughout the years.
Makeup is a language of beauty and self-expression and it has been my honor to support people from all walks of life in finding their voice and their unique sense of style, through skincare, self-care, and cosmetics.
After a series of life-altering injuries in 2023 left me unable to stand or walk, I decided to combine my expertise in the industry and my love of beauty with my many years of experience in writing, editing, translation, content creation and multimedia production - including voice overs, feature articles, interviews, newsletters, books, blogs, web design and more.
I have been a storyteller and artist since I was old enough to hold a pencil (or paintbrush) in my hand, so the transition from being on set to being "on the beat" as a beauty journalist is deeply fulfilling and meaningful. I now work entirely online, bringing my passion for beauty - and for crafting engaging content and memorable experiences - to the digital space.
Reframing the meaning of beauty and makeup through conversation and stories: by and for survivors.
As a survivor of domestic violence and repeated forcible assault, I share a deep connection with fellow survivors in the entertainment and corporate world, and a passion for the power of storytelling through makeup - both as a catalyst to change people's lives for the better, as well as a vital component in empowering communities and cultures, by giving a voice to the voiceless.
As a result of many conversations behind the scenes in the beauty industry, I started working on Beauty for Survivors™ in 2015 - a project blending makeup, the healing power of color, and practical resources for mental health, self-care and sustainable wellness.
As of 2024, Beauty for Survivors is getting an upgrade: with a new website (coming soon) and a brand-new podcast format featuring survivors and their stories, across multiple industries including fashion, film, beauty and more. My goal is to equip as many people as possible - both survivors and those who love them - with the support and practical tools to rebuild their lives from the ground up, while restoring beauty from the inside out.
